Sunday morning - Departing Central IL around 7:30, after a sumptuous Mother's Day breakfast at the Indian Valley Inn. Slabbing it to Harrison, OH, just northwest of Cincinnatti. Boring, boring, boring. And the forecast calls for rain.

Monday - Slabbing it again to London, KY. Still boring, but then on to Kingsport, TN where I'll pick up 421. This is where the fun starts.

Tuesday - 421 all the way to Boone. Right through Shady Valley. Should hit the KOA some time in the afternoon.

KOOOKALOOOOOOOO!!!

It's under consideration, along with a couple of other options. Mostly, it's gonna depend on time and weather...it's a pretty flexible route plan.

Are we still on for dirt day? I'm trying to decide between leaving my off-roadier tires on or not. I won't get there till Wed afternoon. If anybody is down for Brown Mtn or some such - let me know.

And??? It's the late spring. You're headed for the Blue Ridge. At some point, you're gonna get wet; it's a given. (I got rained on, a little, 30 miles from home. Dry ever since, but I've still got 150 miles to go...)

Andrew is trailering up from central NC Thursday morning, expects to be there around lunch.

I will leave Thursday morning and ride up on the FJ, should get there in time for dinner. (I was planning to ride up Wednesday, but a work conflict pushed it back a day. I was also hoping to buy Dave's 998 as seen at Tellico last year, but work conflicts pushed that back at least a month.)

Can't wait!
