Been wanting a newer bike an more upright seating position for awhile. Test drove a couple Vrods and LOVED them, but too pricey.  Rode an 03 Honda VTX 1800 and it was like riding an old farm truck in corners and stuff.
Then after doing more research, rode an 04 Yam Warrior 1700 and loved it!
Bought it last Thursday, 11,900 miles on it, new tires, very well taken care of.   The gigantic muffler is kind of strange, but really like the thump thump of the V-twin. Gobs and gobs of torque.  And it has the front forks of the R1, and I read it handles extremely well for a cruiser.
The tach and speedo faces are really cool too.  Miss the fairing a little bit for my legs on cold days, but so far so good!

That's not a muffler.. it's a cannon! :)

Congrats on the purchase!

Yeah, I've seen it called cannon, gatling gun, water heater... it's pretty big.

Kind of reminds me of the space shuttle booster rockets.. But they fall off a few minutes after starting.... Just remember where they fall, they can be reused...  :mocking:
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

If you decide to change it, you could sell it to a kid in a riced out Honda.

Hey kid!  Have I got a deal for you.. forget the grapefruit shooter muffler.. I've got grapefruit cannon for ya!

Sadly I can picture that muffler hanging off the back of a POS Honda with a ground effects kit..

It is a good looking bike.  I have a couple of friends looking for that style of bike.  I'll tell them about it.

The potato might have a high velocity, but a low trajectory. Wear good boots, that is all I am saying...

It handles great and love the torque. And the thump from the 2 pistons is awesome.
1700cc's... if it were a V8 it's be a 6.8 liter!  :diablo:
