Robin

Hi there!

My name is Robin and I've been driving a Yamaha FJ1100 for a little more than a year now.
I live in the Netherlands where I'm a member of the FJ-Ownersclub.
Hope to learn even more from this forum about this amazing machine  :good2:

Edit: I already have a question, is this forum readable for Tapatalk? Which searchwords do I need to fill in?

I've not used Tapatalk, but according to Wikipedia: "Forum software systems supported by Tapatalk are: ...Simple Machines Forum..."  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tapatalk

This forum is built on SMF 1.1.10.  (According to the bottom of my screen.)

I imagine that your keywords might include "FJ Owners Forum Fucking AWESOME People LOTS of GOOD Information Breasts Klavdy Rally", etc.

Just a thought...

The Netherlands. One dam fine place. Don't imagine there's much "global warming" debate in your neifgborhood. Out of curiosity what is the longest ride you can take there in a more-or-less straight line?
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.

Gefeliciteerd on joining the FJ Owners Club, Robin! It's not Van Persie, is it? Where in NL are you from? My cousin from Garmerwolde joined me on a ride to Alaska last year (trip of a lifetime) on his Triumph Tiger 1050 - a very nice bike. My parents are both from the province of Gronigen and my wife's parents from Friesland so we have close ties to the old country. I hope to go back sometime with our boys - maybe in a few years. Back to the FJ - you'll get lots of great advice on this forum.

Cheers

Zwartie

I wandered around Amsterdam for a week this summer while my wife shopped. And shopped. If I knew about an FJ club in Holland I could've met a few of you guys. Oh well, maybe next time. Welcome to the forum.

Robin

Thanks guys :)

The longest trip you can take in a straight line is about 400km  :rofl2:

I live in a county called 'Gelderland'. It's at the eastside of the Netherlands. (If I want, I can be in Germany in 10-15 minutes)

If anyone is on a trip or a holiday or something, maybe we can join sometime! I know for sure that a lot of people from the FJ-club over here would like that :D
