Hi all. This year we have an orphanage in Győr, Hungary. There are 11 children there, ages of 7 - 18 years old. Each year we sponsor a few orphanages with my work, and the last couple years we dedicate one for us here at the FJ Forum. There are 2 stages:

1. Usually we buy enough candy to make candy bags for about 250 orphans. The director hands them out to each child on Christmas morning at multiple locations.

2. We gather the names and ages of the orphan children and let you personally sponsor them with a gift no more than $25 (to keep it fair). I will do my best to get photos of the child and post it, naming the sponsor.

Everything can be done through PayPal. Stay tuned. More details to follow.

Here's a link to last year's GREATLY successful event. Makes me feel good reviewing it.

Make you a deal... You do the shopping and I will 'sponser' 4 kids by sendin you €100.00 (EUR) to do the shopping with.  I have a budget that I use to do chartible stuff every year and at the current exchange rate (1.249) that will just about wipe it out.

Thank you, and that's very generous. I'm still setting everything up. Stay tuned.

Hit me up with a PM when you get phase 2 set up. I want to make sure I don't miss the post.

I'm in, and posted on Facebook.  I commend you for seeing a need and doing something to bring some happiness to those kids.

Thanks to all!!! This is amazing. We've raised $795 in only FOUR DAYS. Wow! Last year we only raised about $700 total.

My wife and I just returned from a military base in Italy. All of their Halloween candy was 75% off. We bought nearly all they had. This is all turning into something amazing.

A sincere THANK YOU to all who contributed and shared it with others. :good2:
