Please allow me to pimp my new I'net forum. :hi:

The address is: www.5o2go.com

Right now it is wide open, awaiting the first persons post to set the tone. The forum is intended for men & women alike, that are either approaching 50 years old, or already in their fifties. Even though the 50's is more or less the target range, the forum is open to all ages young or old.

I'm also looking for any suggestions on how to improve the forum as it is very simple right now.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

~JM~

Bump one more time in case anyone missed it.

WWW.5o2go.com is slowly growing & starting to develop a bit of character. Please come check it out.

This will be my last attempt at promoting the new site here. Hopefully I haven't offended anyone.

Thank you
~JM~

LOL! Hey Ole Timers are welcome also. I'm sure there is much that a 50+ year old can learn from someone 10-20 years their senior.

Please consider signing up. Maybe I'll create an "Honorary Curmudgeon" title.

Thank you

Oh, I don't know about that. I try to pay attention to those with more experience than I. That was probably the best thing about hitting my 50's. I have noticed that a new mental calm has replaced the frantic whirlwind of thoughts & emotions that plagued me when I was younger.

Thanks.

Hey, If that's what it is, it is a welcome change. I guess I better start interviewing hot nurses for my future care. :nyam1:

Hey there everyone, I know I said I wouldn't keep bringing this post back, but I have a problem. I need to do some more promotion...

The new forum has stalled at a membership in the teens. We really need some more new folks to check it out & sign up, so please stop on by at: www.5o2go.com

Thank you.

~JM~

Hey there Burns,

I used to live in the town about 20 miles south of you. Prior to the opening of the casino.  That's a real nice town that you live in. How's the rain been treating you?

Thanks.

Burns

Well, I'm from Texas and for the last few years there "rain" was just part of the name of an old Dustin Hoffman movie. Sun, we got.

SAD put me on the coach for about 6 months when I moved to the Great NorthWet.

Best of luck on your forum.  Looks like you put a lot of work into it.

I toy with the  idea of a "Burns Report" on the events of the day.

I pretty much have an opinion on all of them.
