Someone should invent a hologram simulater that creates the image of a cop car sitting there right behind you.

Um..err... That is why I do the Red Power Ranger wave off event (not really).... Never a cop when you need one. But I have a story of needing one when I was pissed and wanted one. It was priceless, on the 5 freeway (South bound) at rush hour in LA.... The second car cutting me off was Highway Patrol pulling over the lady in the SUV that cut me off... I was thinking... Shit! Just one one more driver cutting in front... Then I saw the front fenders and gave way. A rare moment, they cannot be in every place we breach the law.... Perhaps a good thing eh??? We all break the law, just be happy that they chose the offenders that really affect safety. They do make choices, just like we do. Thanks....

The downside to filtering to the front, is that when the light does turn green you better move out smartly to get in front of the cars....a sure recipie for getting T boned by a red light runner.

The other downside is the self-righteous asshole who  intentionally opens his door in your path.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.

My trash truck experience keeps my head on a swivel while stopped up front between cars.  I need to know it is safe to punch out in front the cages....
