Recently challenged on one of our cultural habits on a different thread, it became obvious that some of the finer gentry on this forum have a poor understanding of what gets us Aussies revved up.

Many nationalities get confused with Aussie culture, especially if their education is derived from afar.
It`s not written down anywhere then amended as we get better educated. ....hence no amendments ta fight over. Developed over centuries through the campfire media, it has to be experienced.....too hard to textualize, though some have tried:-

Ripper Doug, I love it. That's the best laugh I've had for a long time. They absolutely nailed it.
Might leave some of the members from "over there" scratching their heads wondering what it's all about though.

I went to show this to my 15 year old and he simply said "already seen it, pretty funny"  ..  In a couple of generations people are going to have 6" long thumbs with an extra joint..

Haha.. Watch the dunnie budgies episode. 2000 flys to every aussie, nothing worse then flys in the bush and your trying to get a feed.

This is exactly the trouble with the internet, you log on for a quick 5min check of what's happening and find something like this, and 3 hours later the wife is saying "I thought you were going to cut the grass today, I suppose it wont get done now, you and that bloody computer"
"It's a fine, fine line between pleasure and pain" - the late great Chrissy Amphlett & Divinyls. Never truer than when you're pushing hard on the bike. A good song to keep in the back of your mind.

At least she is not saying "you and the that bloody FJ"....... class lady that wife of yours!.
