Induction noise

I have a 3CV FJ1200 that seems to have a lot of induction noise at 60 mph in top gear. I have renewed the air filter with a genuine Yamaha item and made sure it is fitted correctly ? Any ideas ?

Is the foam rubber intact and pliable on the inside face of your side covers?
