88 FJ1200 - Engine dying when throttling up very quickly

I removed the pilot screws on my 4th take apart and the issue was around long before that. I'm skeptical that replacing those washers will solve the problem.

I think what Randy is saying is that each pilot screw consists of a screw, spring, washer and a very small O ring. The washer sits on top of the O ring. Should be spring - washer and O ring.

Oh... Yea the o rings were there and seemed ok. Not hard/cracking

Replace 'em anyway. I just had my carbs apart 4 times chasing a similar issue, and just one of those o-rings turned out to be the whole problem.
