Where did they store the fuel in those things? Doesn't look like they could store much in the wings.

Yes, it's a MiG-21 "Fishbed." Fuel tanks are in the wings, fuselage, and drop tanks.

Front tire on the MiG looks a bit low.... Run over and top it off before it rolls out....
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Interesting. There was a very recent article about a Canadian CF-18 pilot flying with the NATO missions out of Romania and he describes the Romanians still using MiG-21's. They are not all up on pedestals just yet.
