Yes I still have my 85 FJ - going on 20 years of ownership.  She recently got a new clutch, fork seals and a new rear tire.  The other exciting thing is I had an upholstery shop take my stock seat and turn it into a "Corbin".  Turned out great! See pic below.

Taking her on a rally next week (about 20 of us) - Denver to Pagossa Springs to Moab to Crested Butte to Steamboat back to denver. I'll be the only "Jap" bike amongst all the Harley dudes but who has the bike that stands out?  Me.   :yahoo:

But the really cool thing is my 18 year old passed his riding course (98%) and got a bike.  No FJ but a 1991 VFR750.  What I like is we can go riding and have "father/son" bonding time and he won't think of it that way. Any one know where we can find a right side fairing?

Your 85 FJ looks great, where did you go to get the upholstery done?
The quality of thought is only as good as the quality of language used.

Totally cool.  My Son just got a Triumph Sprint and we're doing a F&S trip around the Olympic Peninsula this Summer.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.

Thanks!  Had Paul's Custom Canvas do it (Washington and about 60th) I have used them for years on my boat upholstery and decided to stop by and see if they would do a seat.  Showed them the pic of a real Corbin and they took it from there.  Turned out great! I cannot say enough good stuff about them.
