You might not like to sing, can't sing or whatever.
But when that one song comes on the radio, you're belting it out.
What song is that for you?

(I need examples for an illustration in a talk I'm giving.)

Unchained Melody (Righteous Brothers)
My Sharona (The Knack)
Roxanne (The Police)
Fire and Rain (James Tailor)
Rocky Mountain High (John Denver)

Nobody's fault but mine, Led Zeppelin.
Sugar Mountain, Neil Young.
Psycho Killer, Talking Heads.

Great question!

For me, just about any classic rock song on the radio, especially Rush, although it's hard to hit those high notes. But, I am going to say (and I challenge anyone to argue this one) that the single greatest driving song of all time has to be Radar Love by Golden Earring. The fact that they are from Holland is just an added bonus!

Probably won't be popular here, but I'll be honest. This one gets me every time. I absolutely sing my heart out. Someone "redeemed" will understand.

I'll take that challenge and offer up the redneck classic:  "Six Days on the Road" (Red Stovine)
and the Stoner Soliloquy: "Killer on the Road" (The Doors)
and BTW a "me too" vote for "Psycho Killer" (Talking Heads)

All depends on what mood you're in
Cruising taking in the sights: Fleetwood Mac (anything on the Rumours album)
Speeding and being fined (anything ACDC)
On your way to work: Boomtown Rats (I don't like Mondays)
