Hello, y'all!

Those who were paying attention last fall may recall that I was trying to sell my FJ. For better or worse,  nobody met my price so I wound up loading her in the back of a U-Haul and taking her to out retirement destination of Fayetteville, AR.

After a miserable winter (by SoCal standards) and a new battery, I am pleased to announce that this afternoon she got her first taste of Arkansas asphalt. Just a quick shakedown;  I expect to be posting more soon.

Anyone living or visiting the area should feel free to give me a holler.

Cheers,
Steve

Steve, are you now officially out of CA? I was hoping to have a beer or two with you before parting ways...

There are some outstanding roads to ride in Arkansas. Usually make a few weekend trips down there every year.

Fred,

Thanks! Hopefully I'll be able to stop by at least for a day; I'll definitely keep it in mind! Not really fully retired yet though, so the full program is probably out of the question,  this year anyway.

Mark,

Sorry to say,  but there were a lot of one-lasts we had to skip in the final push. Allowed 4 weeks for packing but it should've been 5. But yes, we're totally gone. Even have an AR driver's license now.  LOL

Bigfoot,

Yes, I'm looking forward to them!

I hope things/life goes well for you, I would be nice to ride with you again.

Steve,
It's nice to see that there is finally another FJOwner in Arkansas. The only other FJ I have seen here was one headed back to Louisiana, about 2 years ago. There will be a FJ Arkansas mini-meet June 4-7 as well. Send me a PM if you are interested.
