hello everyone i am from Montreal, Quebec and i am a new motorcyclist since last year and my bike is a fj1200 1987 64000 km and its my first bike i love it. this forum is great, there is plenty of relevant info. i am a car mechanic so i try and work on the fj. there is some problem with my bike, oil leak from back of engine at high rpm driving, the back tire is too large and rube against the caliper support. and i just crashed the bike recently also but it is fixed most of it. thanks for such a great forum  :good2:

Welcome dude... Fix it and ride it some more..... They love to be ridden, like a two bit hooker....

Welcome. The FJ is a handful for a first bike !  As bikes go they are pretty easy to work on and still a lot of parts available.  Hope you were not hurt in the misshap.  Asphalt is a cruel teacher.

My favorite people are the French Canadian owners of the company I was hired into 21 years ago. Great people to work for, I loved how they treat people.

John.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!
