Finally after 7 months, I've managed to start to properly convert the FJ sidecar rig.  Outfit split to make work easier.  (please excuse scruffy garage!)

This front end arrived on 11 September 2013, child arrived 16 September 2013 - hence not a lot of progress until this weekend.

This is the state of the FJ at the minute with the leading link front end trial fitted.

Dash area - question, do the bars mount directly onto the top of the yokes, or should there be an insert as mine has? (trying to determine if mine has an aftermarket bar riser fitted).  You can see what I mean currently lying on the screwdriver shaft.

Tonights job, change the front of the clock housing - mine had a converted kph (european) speedo fitted with a mph converter, managed to pick up a cheap mph set with a broken front from a wreck.

Shh don't tell the wife that these have found their way onto the kitchen table she'll kill me ;)

Typically the forks extend about 1.25 inches above the top triple and the stock bars slide on.  The top triple looks stock, cannot tell if the bars are from the picture.

Yes that looks like an aftermarket riser.  Keep it, you might like it.  My bragging rights would go up with that kph speedo  ..  And a belated congrat's on the jr FJ rider...
