Guys I finally finished the mods I was wanting to do on my 89 FJ.If anybody is thinking about doing the bluedot brake mod it is kick ass.Instead of a hand full of brake lever to slow down it is two fingers.I also did the wheels while I was at it.I put the 89 FZR front wheel on and the 87 FZR rear wheel on.I know your thinking what the hell would you put a 18'' wheel on for but it was cheap. All of my machine work was free thank god for good friends. What a totally different ride. The radial tires make a big difference. The ass end doesnt move around at all like the old bias ply.I know I have asked questions on here about these mods and thank you for everybodys help.
THANKS

Buddy,

It is like having a new bike.  I couldn't believe what a difference the wheel and tire change made on my bike.  It makes it so the bike rides smoother and makes you more confident all the way around with the bike.  The handling response is the best aspect, as well as not spinning the rear tire so easily.  It is nice to get all that power to the ground without wondering if the tire is going to start spinning.

Congrats.

Later, Phil    :bye2:

Buddy, got a good laugh mate....... every time I finish a mod I say "I finally finished the mods I was wanting to do"........ the problem is that moditis is not curable!
I had intentions of replacing the rear shock next, but a set of FZ1 forks was just begging me on Ebay..........here we go again  :yahoo:
