Happy spring guys!
Still have snow banks and a foot of snow on the lawn but hope to be riding soon.
I'll note that date on my calendar and see if I can join you.

Awesome, Andrew! Looking forward to it! Should be warmer down here in May...   :drinks:

I've put aside that day for the clinic. The new rubber better be on well before that - dang 16" rims are a PITA but I can't afford or source the parts to do a 17" just yet.

I am considering bringing along a bunch of high output LEDs that can replace the instrument cluster bulbs. Maybe only worth it to someone with bulbs that are going down one by one.
Also relays for headlight and coil power restoration. eg. I was losing 15% of the voltage from the battery by the time it made it to the headlight.
Anything else electrical - let me know. I'm no genius but I can plan ahead to get the knowledge and parts from my various sources.

An old friend who is a long time Yamaha mechanic is putting together a shim kit for me from all his spares. Says he has 100's of shims. He worked at the local Yamaha store for 25 years. Very good resource .He may be there too.

Does anybody in this group of fellas, and in the Golden Horseshoe, have equipment to remove, mount and balance tires?
I've got tire irons but it would be nicer to have a proper bead breaker, etc. to cut down on the frustration level.
One of these days I'll get some equipment because I really like being the DIY'er.

I'm in Orangeville and would drive up to 2 hours each way, ie. down to Niagara area or Oshawa is OK. Or Orillia - going the other direction.

Sorry Charlie I can't help you in that regard. The last time I removed a tire I promised myself it would be the last time. LOL . I do plan on buying all that stuff at some point. Just haven't yet.

Just a reminder of the clinic coming up in a week. If you just want to go for a nice ride stop by around noon. PM me and I will send you my address.

My Saturday just opened up. I can bring another carb synch tool (Morgan) as well if helpful. It would be great to meet you guys and check out the bikes. I'll PM you for your address.

John.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!
