I tried this but everytime I would get a call the side of my head would get dirty. The optional gorilla protector is worth the money. It cuts down the glare so you can see who is calling.

shouldn't be to hard to refine the app so that when pressure comes off the kickstand, it will autodial to report the bike being stolen. Probably in v2.0.
