OK... As some of you know CanDman will be flying in to Brisvagas where he will jump on one of The Generals Fjorce's and make the pilgrimage to Jindabyne.

With people going left and right leaving here and there I felt the need for a thread of plans so riders maybe able to cross paths on the ride down the east coast. Big ask I know.

Right now the only planned stop for our ride down the coast is Byron most likely Monday.

So what you got planned.

I was planning on keeping Australia to the right and the Pacific ocean to the left.

At this stage I'm going to be leaving really early Thursday morn, with so far Stuart, Harv?, Glenn (Voyager). Glenn is hoping to maybe get 4 of us overnight accommodation at his uncles place in Wagga, and then do the remaining few hundred kays easily on the Friday. I 'll wait for Glenn to confirm this though.

I thought about jumping on the bike late Wednesday arvo after getting back from Melbourne, but I don't want to do any night riding out in the country. My brother suggested yesterday that heading out to Warwick first and then down the inland route from there would be the best way, but the shortest (timewise and distance) sounds good to me.

The General

Depending on if we get away late or early, Dena & I plan ta camp at Warwick (David`s place) or Tenterfield or Armidale, Sunday Night. (I hate rush`n ta relax!)..hoping to join David for lunch. (Smoko is at a Cousen`s place at Beaudesert!)

Mt Vincent (East Maitland), Nephew`s organic farm, Monday & Tuesday Night, Woolongong  Wednesday night, Canberra (My Cousen`s place) Thursday Night.

Subject to weather I will duck into Dutch`s Beach, http://www.visitnsw.com/destinations/north-coast/port-stephens-area/beaches for a local BBQ on the Beach at Port Stephens, tuesday evening, (I have some history there ) before returning to Mt Vincent. (1 hour away)

There may be an opportunity for me to join in on an escort of our International guests across The Sydney Harbour Bridge around lunchtime Wednesday if all the ducks line up. (If no interest I will by pass Sydney Via western area). Dena & I have helmet to helmet, CB radio and bike phone...when we remember ta turn it on! (Why Wollongong?...Dena wants ta stay at a girlfriends overnight)

(Note: probly do a parliament house tour thursday pm or Friday am....no doubt our prime Minister needs some advice!)

Note: Our national motorcycle Museum at Nabiac has a cottage available for bikers to overnight also.

Our return ride will be via Canberra & Bathurst`s Mt Panorama race circuit. (Depending on wether my soninlaw can talk me inta watching him play footy in Wagga Sunday Arvo). Planning to take Dena down Conrod Straight monday Morn. (Hoping ta get Jonesy outa bed!)

If it`s severe rain on the way down, then I will do tha Tuesday Night, Dutchies BBQ on the return journey instead.

From there, can`t decide on the pristine beaches of NSW North Coast or maybe a country run past Megsy`s cinema chairs. My daughter is expecting our second grandchild in Townsville on 20th March so might have ta pick up the pace on short notice!  :drinks:

All welcome ta join me anywhere en route. (I should be able to adjust plans anywhere!..be great to catch up along the way.  :drinks:)

General
what track are you taking from Maitland to the gong?
General and xray
what day are you coming through Bathurst.
wouldn't mind catching up and kicking tyres, or get a feed at a local eatery after a few laps of the mount

Ray, that is 1300km from my place on the first day !!
I may not make it that far so I will probably overnight it somewhere before Wagga. Will be bringing a small tent and fart bag so have no problem with that. I think the furthest I have ridden in one day recently is about 900 km but that was on a VFR which is not as comforatable as the FJ
