As for the plate near the rear of the lift... would that not be the loading ramp?

  Well thanks Tony for heads up about princess auto having motorcycle lifts. The lift has a heavy duty ramp to roll bike up on platform but there is also a removable plate under rear tire for access of dropping tire out I guess. In time I will find out if it was a good engineered idea. Crash bars spin on oil filter upgrade and fork brace and new shock will be going on shortly. I did not realize but minus the shock it adds almost 12 lbs to the already heavy FJ. If I was good with computers I would show you a pic but I suck.
