Not having seen Willits, I voted for it. Let's see how much fun we can have.

Here's 5 pages of pictures from the 2010 rally.

The 2008 WCR was also in Willits.  Here is a link to the pictures from that Rally:

I thought we were a bit put off by the new owners of the Willits KOA last rally we had there.  It was very full and they had extended the camp ground to the other side of the creek, behind our cabins.

I do remember one gal being rather pissed we were so "noisy"..  Although her attitude changed when we gave her all of our leftover firewood...

Ring a bell for anyone else?

IIRC, that was 2011.  Southpark, as I recall.

If someones that wants to go RVing quietly they shouldn't stay at a KOA.  They cater more to the family week end family camper crowd (kid's, dogs, cats etc).  I say that from 12 years of almost full time RVing.  Most full time RVer's will avoid staying at a KOA because they are more rustic, noisy, and way overpriced.

There is another KOA over at Manchester Beach ? I have never seen it and have no information on it.  KOA's are a nice fit for club events where you desire some outside space, camp fires and yes a little noise. I am open to go anywhere,  well just about.....  :good2:

This is my Yuma home. Just spreading some January sunshine......

The 2007 WCR was at the Manchester Beach KOA: http://www.fjrally.com/picgallery/gallery.asp?categoryid=23
The weather sucked as it was right off the ocean and the Marine Inversion Layer (aka: June Gloom) has us in a total cold fog all the time at the campground.  Hence the move to Willits for the 2008 WCR.

+1 ZARI. Rode through Susanville down through Greenville in November. Very pretty country and the roads are good when they don't have ice on them. Have that same view of south Lake Almanor with my bike pictured in the gallery. Stay warm--Dave

Susanville in June would probably be a lot like Porterville was; Too HOT!
