Blue spot calipers

Fitted some blue spot calipers today that I got from Ebay a few weeks ago.

As anyone who has fitted these would know, the difference is quite noticeable. I was always a bit sceptical that a caliper would make much difference, but after fitting them have changed my opinion. The lever feel is a lot firmer, where as before the lever would pull half way to the bars, now it's firm just after hearing the brake light switch click.

I have to get some braided lines soon because where the hose bolts on is in a different spot, the bend on the original hose kicks the line out a bit, not too bad but.

Even with the stock master cylinder, brake lines, and organic brake pads, one firm pull with the middle finger has the front diving, but better with two fingers to the point of the wheel locking.
A worthwhile upgrade for anyone considering doing it.

Too young to be old but old enough to know better.

Tony, if you're impressed with them now, wait till you get some braided lines, add EBC HH sintered pads and a 14mm brake master and you'll think there's nothing better. I have all of the above plus 320mm rotors and it's unbelievable.  Regards, Pete.   :i_am_so_happy:
