A friend down here is parting out her 1995 yzf600r and I want to know if the rear wheel from that can be used to do the 17" mod for the fj. Is so I'll pick it up to have in case any of us need it. Anything else off that bike that could work for our FJ's pipe up and tell me and I'll get it. She told me I have first dibs.

I believe the rear wheel has potential use, and also the front end, but I will wait for better educated minds to comment further

I don't see why not.

The 95 front wheel is different than the 97+YZF wheel. It might bolt right up, but to my knowledge no one has done it. The 95 YZF forks are damping rod style forks with no advantage over the FJ fork other than a wider range of preload adjustment. I converted my 95 to a set of 96 forks to get decent parts.
