Looks great. IMO CBR1000 mirrors are the way to go.

Did you use the oem Honda or aftermarket?

3) Replace your old stock rubber brake lines.

Did the same with the new fairing install. They are aftermarket so we will see how they work. I am going to shim mine up so the are a bit more level and in the mid range of adjustment.

The 1100's have handlebar mounted mirrors. There are no provisions on the main fairing or the fairing sub-frame to mount mirrors.

Thanks for the info guys. Those look like you can spot a police cruiser 1/2 mile behind you. :good2:

You'll like those CBR/600/1000  mirrors until you try the OEM Honda CBR 250 mirrors.

I've had the FJ OEM, the CBR 600/1000 knock off's and now the OEM CBR 250 mirrors.  I'm done looking for better mirrors.

I am sure that your longer stemmed mirrors give you a great view, but, I filter on a three lane motorway, sometimes the cars are stationary. The width of those would impede my progress. :blum1:

Yeah, I never filter.  It's illegal here.  Also,  I've mounted 42L hard bags, so if the mirrors didn't hit the bags probably would.

It can be done Joe. Have a look here. http://www.fjowners.com/index.php?topic=9439.msg89556#msg89556
Was a fairly simple job once the fairing is removed. Better rear vision than originals. I did find that GENUINE Honda mirrors are miles ahead of the cheap Emgo variety.    Genuine CBR mirrors are usually fairly cheap on Ebay.   Regards, Pete.

I will check them out. Thanks pete. I have my fairing off already. You may have saw my writeup thread. I've got the whole bike apart. Every single nut and bolt except for the engine. Do you have to dip your arm to see. I had to with the oem mirrors. My mirrors were intact but they rattled something fierce. I tried to take one apart and broke it. the rattling was a piece of steel which was suspended in injected foam. the foam turned to dust leaving the steel.
