Batteries all pulled and resting for the winter

I pulled the batteries from most of the "toys". Last year I have great luck connecting them all together and keeping them charged, hopefully it works again this year -



I don't suggest this method if any of the batteries are "suspect" or if they are of different types.

The CBR1100XX is the only motorcycle I have with the battery still in it, when weather allows, I'll ride!

If you have *any* ethanol content in your fuel, don't forget StarTron.

Yea Steve, tell us more about Madass..... looks like the gas is carried in the frame. 50cc? 125cc?  It looks to be street legal, is it fun?

How long have you had it? Why sell?  etc, etc....(Hint: Xmas is around the corner)

Gas is carried in frame, yes to street legal, there are 50 and 125 variants, and I believe a 500cc version was announced a while back, not sure if it ever came to fruition or now. Huge modder community, as you might imagine.

I rode one for a couple months on loan from a friend when I didn't have other wheels.

Unfortunately his was plagued with problems, though they generally have good reputations. I think his would have qualified under a 'lemon law' if he had pursued it in time. He bought it from a very disreputable shop (he found out later), so that could explain it.

Another friend of his was using it when in from out of town when 'something' happened to it... Seems that he was going about 40 but with the clutch held in had downshifted to 1st coming up to a stop... and the clutch suddenly released? Perhaps?

No more worky.

Never diagnosed.

Anyways. Fun little machines! not quite enough pep stock, but room to have fun for sure. Think of it as the best scooter you ever rode. Some like to call it 'the most pure embodiment of a motorcycle ever made'. It is a standard.
