It's like all sites, they have a life cycle.
People move on, too.
These are pretty old bikes now with limited appeal to most folk today.
Remember the list before the Yahoo List?
Remember the Yahoo List?
It used to be extremely active, nowadays there just seems to be George Bowers on there, a plaintive yet poignant voice in the electronic wilderness.
"This guy has got to go. The single most offensive individual I have experienced on the web.

True for a number of other bikes too, but dedicated owners and riders of them still live on. Albeit in smaller numbers.

Long live the FJ ! :yahoo:

Yeah, my gut reaction is the numbers are still up, just the website is having issues wih the tally.  Kind of like the times when the search engine goes dumb.

I only post when I have something to say, so very rarely, I login skim the post headings read a few then bugga off  (popcorn)
I have kleptomania,
but when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

for the record, given most websites have terrible search integration, my standard way of searching any forum or website is the following trick:

Go to google.com

type in (for example, for fjowners) (sans quotes):

"site:fjowners.com query"

replacing "fjowners.com" with the website you want to search, removing the quotes, and replacing "query" with whatever you want to search for.

Google will then only search that domain.

Voila!  :hi:
fjowners.wikidot.com

Not everyone understands what a completely rational process this maintenance of a motorcycle is. They think it's some kind of a knack or some kind of affinity for machines in operation. They are right, but the knack is almost purely a process of reason.

Cool - I'll have to give that search technique a try.

Also noticed the site doesn't show who is signed in anymore -- and doesn't list the most recent postings either.  Wonder if all these issues are connected?

Good morning Chris. Scroll down to the header that reads "FJowners.com - Info Center" over to the right side there will be a - or arrow, click that and see what happens ? Hope that helps.
