Online Tally

I noticed a while back that something on the forum changed and the numbers of persons listed online dropped significantly. If you look near the bottom of the home page you can see the most ever online was 137 on March 6, 2012. For some time our numbers have been really low like most of the time under 20.

Our old average of online right around 100 but as of today according to the stats it has dropped to: Average online per day: 47.57

What happened to have such a significant drop?

I am sure that there are many members online but not logged in and therefore, cannot be accounted for.  With so much to learn from this wonderful forum, I make a point to drop by daily but do not log on.

Well it used to count both members and guest as well. Now the most "guests" I ever see is 1. The page views seems to have held pretty steady, but the persons online has dropped more than significantly.

I have noticed the same thing.....it's like everyone's gone on holidays.....I noticed the drop as soon as the kids went back to school........but I'm doing my part to post everyday.....want super hero status as soon as Possible......then I'll have my VIP pass.....

I am on the sire at least 2 or 3 times a day on the weekends and at least once a day during the week. My hours don't let me on to much on week days. I am up at around 2 am and don't get home till about 4 or 5 in the afternoon. The joys of being a logging truck driver. Big R

Maybe I should log in more, instead of doing quick scans as a "guest" when I'm pressed for time, but...

Statistically, it doesn't make sense that there was a sudden drop/ break in the curve of users. Unless some measurement changed? (What, did Florida get hit by an asteroid while I wasn't looking? Please?  )
Go ask the NSA, they could tell us.

fwiw. The last time we had 100 online was August 28th 2013. We got winter coming up over and we got plenty of wood for the campfire being cut. Just a matter of keeping comfy.

I find I check in once a day or once every two days. You gotta keep your Fj vibe topped up.
