Subject:
need help! i am trying to build an fj 1100 chop, using a hardup frame and a 1984 fj1100 as a donor. engine is mounted correctly .wanted to use xjr1300 front and rear wheels but when trying to line up the rear wheel the sprocket carrier is fouling on the frame, is there another wheel that would fit better .plus the front and rear sprockets dont line up .

The XJR has a longer output shaft than the FJ OEM set up. Other FJs have this fitted so there is an answer. I can't say as I am still on a stock FJ engine.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

You know, this question is like asking...Help my bike is running poorly...what's wrong?  :dash2:

Some more information is needed.....Like....(with the back tire centered in the frame)...How much offset do you have...?

Flip the rear sprocket?  Mill the mounting face of the cush drive? Offset the rim in the chassi?

Look thru the files section at other rear wheel conversions and steal ideas for your project.  Good luck and post pics of your work!
