Suggest using some of a stainless steel scrubbing pad - the steel wool can rust and break down over time -- don't really want that to find its way into the engine case and oil supply!

I think it was Steve Conklin that got dressed down by his engine builder (Hank Scott) for not routing the breather to the back of the bike so this fumes wouldn't get sucked into "his" engine (aka Thor). :biggrin:

Yep definatley. I used the stainless steel pot scrubber in the catch can I installed in our 4X4, works a treat. Although getting that into a 1/2" rubber tube would be a bit difficult. I'm going to extend the line and just put the filter on the end,  :drinks:
