OK the run north.

First I packed a few things in the bike jump on and hit the starter "nothing" fook. Off with the seat, tank trace some wires and there it is. The engine switch is off DOH. Put the bike back together and head down to the bike shop for some chain lube. Short ride. So I lube the chain and suit up. Where is my gloves. I left them on the top box. Back track to home no gloves anywhere. Back to the shop and buy new gloves. On the road.

I cruise up the highway and turn in to the Sunshine coast hinterland toward KIn Kin.

Quick pic and back on the bike. Hit the starter and nothing. Quick check and this time something is wrong. So push start and off to the Cousins house in Harvey Bay to fix and rest up with a cold one.

Next day we hit the road to Dululu heading inland and in to some heat.
We tried to stick to back roads. But one turn seen us on dirt and 60+ km of it. I thought what are we doing when I spy a bloke on a Busa trying his best to stay upright.

Anyway in a round about way we make Dululu about 4pm and do I need a beer.

On the run home next day we headed toward the coast and a good run home.

About 1400km over the 3 days on some good, some great and some shit roads.

I must say I do love my cruise control on these long runs.

Cheers.

Ok Richard, where's the carton of beer. :sarcastic: Just noticed you have what looks like a Corbin seat plus an airhawk cushion on top. I know how good the airhawks are because I have them, but how good are the Corbin's on there own for touring. I like the look and shape of them and was thinking of getting one, but if their no more comfortable than the standard seat I don't think I'll bother.

Love country towns and their pubs. I bet those board thin wall could tell some stories. (Fair bit of history around that shortcut to everywhere Town of Biggenden - incl Mount Le Brun, with two large craters and it`s lakes) Great stuff.  :drinks:

Tony the seat is a John Moorhouse. I have heard he was ill and no longer making seats.

Doug we could ride around that area sometime.. Find a pub and have a beer.
