I'm thinking of buying these for my 84 FJ1100. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161034710091?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_2042wt_1004
Both of mine are leaking and pitted so I thought these would be a nice replacement. Has anyone ever bought anything similar? I like the look of the "urine cups". I contacted the seller about the bore size but they don't know. Thanks in advance.

The price looks good anyhow... I don't know about these units but sometimes the bore size is cast into the side of the cylinder. Might ask them about a rebuild kit ? Might give you a clue as to the size.

There may be a difficulty in connecting the brake lines. The banjo bolt ports are 90 degrees off from the OEM position. The OEM Banjo bolt ports face forward.

My opinion is "to steer clear". If the sellers don't even know what the bore sizes are, what good are they going to be if you have any problems with these units. Sure they are cheap but I place a high price on my safety, especially when it comes to brakes. There are plenty of other "tried and true" options around and I'd prefer to stick with one of them. Nissin make a good range of "urine style" masters, that are way more expensive than these but are far superior products. Used R1 and R6 masters are also a good and usually cheap option. My advice is to keep looking. Regards, Pete.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll keep looking. I did find a 91 ZX6 clutch master for cheap. Will it work?

The zx6 mc should work fine, most likely a nissin brand one too

I am going to give these a try on my 87'. Not this particular one but the same years and model. Honda VTR1000 Front Brake and clutch master cylinders.

Not sure what is up with the orange colored handle.

That Orange is a slightly faded Red anodize finish. Aluminum that is died any color will fade with heat and age. It will eventually turn a pale Pink.  :bad:
