RPM Shock and dog bone lengths

I have shot this question to randy and I know he will get back to me, but in the mean time I thought I would throw it out there for others who have the late model shock installed in case you have done something different.

I am running the gsxr rear with about 1/4" clearance when on the centre stand.  The dog bones have 100mm centres for reference.

What dog bone lengths are the folks with the late model shock running? And what lengths were the shock homologated/tested with?

The dog bone length is realy s personal preference after you get the rear spring sag set.

When we tested the shock when had it in 16 & 17" wheels, stock & adjustable/altered dog bone lengths. Once the sag numbers are set using the spring preload adjustment the dog bone length is where you like the handling of the bike.

I had one in the shop yesterday and the rear tire was about an 1" - 1.125" from the floor on the center stand.

The dog bone length does not affect the shock, unless you do not set the rear sag.
