New fj owner here. The bike has been setting for a  while and is not getting spark at either coil. I have checked all fuses and connections. I have also check primary and secondary continuity at the coils and pickups. Is there anything else other than the igniter box I should check?

FJ_Hooligan

Do you have power to the coils?  The red/white wire to each coil should have constant 12 volts whenever the key is on.

I have power at both the red/white wires as well as the orange and grey wires when the coils are plugged in. I was under the impression that the cdi would ground the orange and grey wires to the coil causing them to wprk but I could be wrong.

Travis398

that's right.  If everything checks out, dare I say TCI box

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Check the wires going to the crank pickup. The TCI won't signal the coils to fire if it doesn't get a signal from the crank.

So are you saying the orange and grey wires going to the coils should be grounds or what?

I am getting the correct ohm reading
s from the pickups. Is there a different way to make sure they are working?
