Winter Is Almost Over Down Under

Spring is nigh, Winter is nearly over.
Here's a couple of photos from today, it's the equivalent of February if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.

Yep, We've had some stunning days lately where I live, clear sunny skies, warm weather, I think it got to 28degC on Tuesday. Perfect biking weather.   Tony.

Yeah, wet slushy sloppy snow.  Just doesn't get cold enough for good snow in Australia.
Keeps me from wanting to even visit the Aus. alps while its like that. :-)
Did you know that its cheaper to fly to NZ for a week of good powder snow skiing, than driving to Hotham or Falls for slush?

Bet that's not the first police bike fire in en zed  ,,,slushy snow , lots of bush walkers go missing for days down here , lose the track and get lost , usually because they didn't expect snow
