I had hoped i could but 1250 pistons, pins, rings and get on with it...as the bores are said to be "just fine".                                                        Patty, are you trying to get me to go racing again.  I keep telling myself that im done with that![/URL]

Er.....That is not a 530 X 110 zzz chain is it????
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Fixed it for you...

Now, I am still interested if you bought the cylinders in the US or overseas as you were told they had 17K on them.

If they are US cylinders and that is 17K of race car miles, they are worn out, out of round & tapered and will not offer what you are hoping for.

If they are from a bike with 17K, you should at least have the cylinders measured for wear in reference to the piston size, taper & out or round as well.

Then you are going to have to have the cases machined to fit the cylinder/sleeves into the case. And from there you really need to give some thought the the connecting rods. The FJ rod is very weak on the big end and have trouble maintaining a round bore, the XJR rod was designed to eliminate this problem.

Unfortunately there is no "drop them on and run" when going up to the bigger 1250+ bore.

To be clear....i havent bought them...and i have zero thoughts of racing this bike..its just a cruiser and was hoping to do just as you stated..."drop them in and run"   My stocker only has 15K and hoped that the bottom end, trans and rods would handle it ...as RPM's would rarely hit 9000.  If im kidding myself...feel free to pop my bubble :cray:
