Gixxer Rear Sprocket

Thanks for the great information. I'm on a mission to collect all the parts for a gsxr wheel conversion. I will need a 38 teeth sprocket. However, I would like to get a steel, and not aluminum.
I wasn't clear if the link above is for a steel or aluminum. Could you please clarify? If it is aluminum, any suggestions for where I can get a 38 teeth steel sprocket?

Mine was a 93 GSXR 750 38 tooth JT Rear sprocket off  e bay for 39 bucks.  As a note I flipped my sprocket to end up with a near as I can measure a perfect chain alignment with the front sprocket. Motion Pro makes a 15.00 tool that helps in the chain alignment.

I went thru Amazon got same one for 22 and all told 45 to my door..

I just ordered my JT Steel 38T sprocket from my local Suzuki shop. Only took them 3 days to get in, relatively inexpensive as well,

Just got my 38T sprocket. Just to confirm, I would get a near perfect alignment if I mount the sprocket with the machined indented side on the wheel?
