Does anybody know what size the hex is on the late model FJ fork caps? I know my 86 has a totally different cap.

Thanks

My FJ is a 1990. I know yours is a little different. I have 2 bolts, one has a 12mm head and the other is 27mm. On both bolts I tack welded an old 3/8 drive socket. However you could probably just use a couple of nuts. The 27mm bolt is about 3 " long. I am thinking the large hex head is the same on all the forks (the one you remove to change oil or pull out the spring etc).
IF that's any help  :good2:

I use a 13/16" socket on them. I believe that is right at 21mm.
