Up date on the Delkevic shorty cans, had them for a few weeks and just love the sound of them, between idle and 2200 rpm they give out a low rumble almost sounding like a twin, after that they start singing like a pure sport bike all the way to redline. Are they loud enough to attract attention, yep you bet but then that's the whole point isn't it.
I mentioned before comparing to a Youshie 4 into 1 on a 1100 Gix-er   " son's bike" and no they aren't as loud .
I like the looks of them to being short and the weight saving from the stock mufflers, not sure how much weight but quite a bite.

Try to get a video up later this week.

Jim

Looks like I have a set of stock mufflers for sale that are in near mint shape...lol

Silencers arrived tonight. I took the old silencers off, I've offered up the new silencers and connecting pipe :wacko3:  I can't seem to get the silencer to sit correctly. :shok: Humid here, and I'm too hot to carry on.

try again tomorrow.

Ribbert, did you find it easy to fit?

Mine were a bit of a pain to line up, have to mess around with the connecting pipes, once you get them lined up
the cans go on no problem.

Pig of a job, but done now. Partially my fault, as I was trying to put the silencer clamp at the back of the footrest hanger, instead of on the outside. Second silencer was easier to fit after using washing up liquid on the silencer clamps rubbers, made it easier to rotate.

Bump stop missed the mainstand, if I rotated the link pipe the silencer wouldn't fit where I w3anted. I'll make something up to suit.

Looks good, but if it were mine I'd try to get the can further forward so there's more support from that rear strap.

Not going to happen, no more room for it to slide forward.  Mine are marginally further forward than ribbert's.

Not a great deal to cut off, not much straight pipe either end.

Even 1/2" either end of the mid pipe would give an extra inch further foward with the pipe
