The only new motorcycle I have ever owned was my 1991 FJ 1200.  I rode it for six years, then had to sell it to buy a car on account of the fact that my then soon to be ex-wife kept the family car, etc.  Fast-forward to March 2012 and the dirt bike riding school librarian at the high school where I taught. One day while I was in the library with my students, Mr Librarian calls me into his office to show me a Craigslist ad for a 1992 FJ 1200. Two days later it was mine.  Now I have a 20 year old FJ.  It runs well but needs some work.  Back in the 90s I used to participate in an e-mail bulletin board of FJ owners.  I wonder if this internet forum is a descendent of that bulletin board.  Best wishes to all my FJ riding buddies!

Some members on the (now-defunct) Netpath Fj list created the Yahoo FJ group, then later on, the Netpath list was moved over to Micapeak.  Later on, Marsh set up this group, which, at least initially, was all made up of Yahoo group people.

So yeah, in a way it is, I suppose.

Frank,

The name Mazz does ring a bell.  That bulletin board was very active. It featured the same international cast of characters as this  forum does.
