They both look like intimidating machines, but a fuel injected turbo-busa... Would take a lot of mods to compete with that.

West Cork Motorcycle Club's annual drag racing event from 2013 on the N71 at Halfway, Ballinhassig. This is the G class final (no restrictions) between Craig Mallabone on his Suzuki Hayabusa Turbo in the right hand lane and Ted Brady on Mel Nolan's Yamaha FJ Competition Bike. Ted gets the jump at the lights but Craig on his Turbo takes the win with an 8.93 seconds quarter mile pass.

Not too many bikes gonna touch a turbo busa on the big end..... but the FJ got a good launch (wheelie bars) and busa boy got to see the FJ's tail light for a bit
