Hi all,
I have just finished repainting tank and am about to stick the heatshield back on, any ideas what kind of glue would be best?

I have used 3M super 77 spray adhesive. Works pretty well.

I used a cheap spray can glue,  held up so far

I had not thought of the 3m spray glue (or similar) but that sounds like a good idea, and i do have some somewhere around so that is that query solved, thanks.
