Barrnett spring conversion???

Has anyone every seen this clutch setup before??

Mike,

There were several companies making that clutch conversion out of the stock pressure plate for many years. APE, Falicon, HSR and Legends. They used the stock pressure plate and bored the holes for the sleeves to fit and machined the raised bearing boss.

They work as well as the Barnett and the only issue I have seen with these conversions is I have had two come through that were cracked. Where they machine the raised bearing boss and the removal of the additional material for the sleeve to fit makes that area weak.

Look at the machines area around the bearing boss closely and make sure it is not cracked, I can not tell from the pictures posted.

Thanks Randy I did not see any cracks but will inspect it closely before using.
