Hi Everyone,
While  adjusting valve shims on our 86 I noticed the cam chain seems to have more slop than the other bikes as reverse the the motor from clockwise to counterclockwise.

Is there a way to know what the correct tightness is?

As I understand it the auto adjuster should be keeping the correct tension on.

Thanks and Regards,

Jeff

dont spin the engine in reverse..... the tensioner system is only designed to operate with the cam chain turning in the proper direction.
