pretty sure this has been discussed but im unable to find the answer,, forks from a 2000 model xjr1300,  are they damper rod or cartridge, ,
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

84 Fj1100  effie , with mods
( 88 ) Fj 1200  fairly standard , + blue spots
84 Fj1100 absolutely stock standard, now more stock , fitted with Fj12 twin system , no rusted headers for this felicity jayne

According to the manual they are " 43mm oil damped telecopic fork " and from what i can see just damper rodded.
The 12's had no adjustment and the 13's are adjustable for spring pre-load.
