Hello everyone!

I'm new here, and wanted to say hi!"

I bought my fj1200 1tx back in 2009, but she was missing parts and was a poor, mistreated machine... It's sitting in my garage since, and two days ago, i bought a 3cv with all the parts i need, and now i'll build one in mint condition to last a lifetime!

Will be posting a project here, keep an eye out for it. dissasembly starting this week!

Welcome Kirian, we love to see any FJ restored and put back on the road, so please post up pictures and tell us more about our newest member.

Welcome to the group. Plenty of knowledge here. Don't know if you have read many threads here. You mention using the cv to help restore your 1tx. An item to consider is swapping the forks. Use the cv forks and 17" wheel on your 1tx.

Welcome to the group Kirian ! Good for you on putting your FJ back on the road. There are days of reading here in the the forum,  pictures in the gallery and information in the files section.  Help is available (or at least opinions) from all over the world just about 24/7. What part of the world do you live in ?

Life isn't about having the best, but about making the best of what you have...

I come from Croatia, there are not a lot of fj's here so looking forward to riding my own. Yes, i saw that the forks and brakes are better on 3cv model, so will be swapping then also, as for the front wheel. For now i look forward on dismmentaling the old one, so i can get the frame sandblasted and powdercoated, don't yet know if it will be blask or silver as original...
