how hard is it too run over your front mudgaurd? trust me its easy.... and unsavable after meeting mister rear tyre at 120 or so :dash2:  and so it goes on..... after my last attempts at fixin leccy problems  ( was just the battery.... but only 2 weeks old!!!) discovered a coupla things.
1. mudgaurd stop water from hitting connections near headstock under tank...( this will make your bike stutter and want to die under 2 grand... fun slipping the clutch in the wet while holding it at about 2 and a half grand at the lights.... chuckles)
2. it is not a good idea to ride kangaroo valley at night in the flogging rain with super sexy tinted visor and slick front tyre...( funnily enough she let go on the left hand corner going down hill front and rear just a graceful upright neander over the road.... aquaplaning i think its called....)
3. mirrors can be welded. ( saves 140 odd dollarooskies)
fun aint it? but kangaroo valley is just awesome great ride  and awesome scenery.... o yer... kangaroo s too..... and they arent frightened of bikes ... came round a corner and skippy was sitting in the middle of the road!!! i stoppped.. bout 5 feet away from him asked him to move nicely,, flashed the lights...( all while stoppped in front of him) beeped the horn.... nothing!!! just looked at me stupidly. then heheard a car coming behind me and was off like a shot under the armco railing!!!!! bloody things.... better than hitting him tho!!! was a good run... went putty to richmond.... theres a grey area here  but i ended at bowral and took the turn off there through kangaroo valley.... then out to nowra jervis bay way.... yes it took me 7 hrs to get there but i wanted to miss all the shytesydney but on the way back went throuh the valley through blacktown and onto some form of toll roads..... only realised when i flew through hornsby on pennant hills road i had been taking the absolute biggest longest detour i didnt need to take. and i got home to newy /maitland in about 5

cheers. neil
Some people's idea of free speech is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone says anything back that is an outrage.

I lived in Kangaroo Valley for a short while in the 70's. Even became a member of the Bowling Club so I could eat there. It was that or the pub. Great roads but the EH wagon on retreads was not the vehicle to enjoy them in.
