Going through some of my old bike brochures, (very entertaining) I found this pearl. Did anyone ever ride with one of these?
It was very expensive considering a 17" Metzeler front tyre could be bought from the same catalogue for 50 cents less at $11.25!

I remember the ads, but never bought one.
The magazine "test" claimed the biggest problem was getting dizzy.
