A silverstar ultra is much better that stock. I use 2 G4 ultra bulbs in the vft. Great result.

make sure you've done the headlight harness mod before you go considering better bulbs.

1) Went to Google,
2) typed in "100 watt H4"
3) clicked on "search" and Voila; 46,600 hits:

Hey Alain, sorry for being a smart ass, but listen to Dean's advice, he is 110% correct.
On it's very best day the headlight wiring circuit on our FJ's is weak, weak, weak. Sure you can put in a 100 watt bulb (I did) but you will not get the life span nor proper light output out of the 100 watt bulb until you get more voltage to the headlight than what our stock circuit allows.

Here is where many of us has gotten our wiring relay kit for light upgrades: http://www.electricalconnection.com/wire-harnesses/hrns_headlight.htm

I run all silverstars in my car, huge difference.
Ran 55/100 in my old fj, even without  a relay, worked fine, huge improvement also. probably better yet with a relay and a better feed line.
they used to have 80/100 also in reg h4's

sorry for the typo. H4 bulbs. This iPod touch auto corrects me and makes changes  without me looking before I post

Go into the files section and get the headlight relay mod instructions.  Or buy a harness.  A brighter bulb is worthless without the relay mod.

You should checkout the HID kits made by DDM Tuning.  They are well reviewed and very affordable.

HID=very bright light.  Get the Bi-xenon kit, install realy.  You'll like the results!

I checked it out this spring but I'm not shure the focal point is respected with the hid kits ( the front FJ lense is not made for that light source) wich means that light will be flashing all over the road even on low beam.

I haven't had time to install the HID kit I purchased from DDM tuning.   I have the PIAA 55/60 bulb with a harness/ relay kit from Eastern Beaver to bypass the stock lighting.  If you did purchase a 100 watt bulb you'd be wasting your money with the oem wiring because of the resistance of the thin wires.  You'd perhaps be lucky to match the output of a good bulb in stock wattage with a thicker set of wires and relay.   Never mind the fact that you're gonna have a lot of unnecessary heat running through 20 some-odd year old wires.  Save yourself some hassle in the future and just put in a relay kit and a nice HID kit in a sensible temp (less than 6000k, even better in the 4000k range, which is closest to daylight)  I hope to get it in the bike this weekend, but I have to fix a set of leaky carbs first.  As soon as I do I'll post about it.  Even if you are allergic to anything other than incandescent bulbs at least get the headlight relay kit and try a stock wattage bulb before you put a 100 in there.  You might be surprised by just how much more light you get.

                                                        Cheers,
