I have seen cooling fans for sale on Ebay. Has anyone installed one, and if so, how well does it work?

You are better off installing an oil line thermostat.

kidding aside, I believe the consensus is they are not worth the effort.

I am planning on ordering the larger oil cooler from Randy some time in the near future. I was just curious if anyone had favorable results with electric fans.

Properly sized pilot jets have a bigger impact on a cool running engine.....

Do you spend a lot of time in stop and go traffic? Setrab makes a thermal switch which would automatically turn an oil cooler fan on. They make fan packs too. Clearance is an issue.

Just don't forget to install the oil cooler thermostat solenoid!
