is it safe to soak the anti-dive units in chem dip?

Since they don't really work its better to remove the top half and the hoses that go with it. And when you can afford it switch over to 89' and up forks to get a 17" wheel on.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

So do you think it's a waste of time even refurbishing the anti-dive units? Surely the cost would be minimal no?

The only value they have is to an owner that must have the bike 100% original. Other wise they add unsprung weight and more places to trap air when bleeding the brakes.
